This book was awesome , it was such a sweet read - and there's no pun intended but with a new bakery shop opening up, there is alot of sweet treats and magic going around. All Julie has ever wanted to do ever since she was a little girl is bake and one day open her own bakery/tea shop , her mother however wanted her to go into Medicine. Now her mother has passed away and Julie is failing her dentistry courses and considering to drop-out. Her parents owned a real estate business and they have a listing of an inheritance that belonged to one of Julie's mother's distant relatives - Emma Jane Aster. Julie offers to drive to Chancellor to put the signs up for her dad, but as soon as she spots the cottage and the inside - she knows that it's fate and destiny - to own it and open her own shop up and even better Emma Jane has left Julie her recipe cards. Emma makes one of the items and gets her wish , and moves to Chancellor. She will soon discover that Emma Jane Aster wasn't just an ordinary baker and that the town of Chancellor is not just any usual town but a town filled with witches and that Emma Jane belonged to the coven and now she has passed her generational spot onto Julie. With everything to take in , will Julie accept her spot and does she believe in Magic ?
