Review: The Ruthless Fae King - Leia Stone (Book #3)

Review: The Ruthless Fae King - Book #3 Kings of Avalier Series - Leia Stone - April 2023

I would say personally that I am not a huge fantasy or romantasy fan but lately, I have gotten into it as some of the books being published these days are very easy to read and have the perfect mix of fantasy, romance, and suspense to them. It also helps that the characters are easy to like and connect to as well. This is one series that I have been enjoying and I have enjoyed the first three books and can't wait to read book #4 - though I am partial to say as each book features a paranormal group - I am Team #Dragons. We have had Dragons in Book #1, Elves in Book #2, and now in Book #3, we have Fae. The book starts with the Fall Court princess being promised to the Winter King Lucien. The Winter King has a bad reputation and the Fall Princess Madelynn is angry at her father for organising this marriage without telling her. However, Madelynn is about to get the surprise of a lifetime as she discovers that he is nothing like those stories and that he is a kind soul who's just been hurt by the ones he loved the most. The Ruthless Fae King is a great reminder to all that people can be deceiving as the evil ones in this book turn out to be the nicest of people and the ones people thought were nice and caring turn out to be awful villains and I am glad that the villain got what was coming for him as I hated his character. When the Villian arrives and takes Madelynn for his bride, will her real Prince Charming come and rescue her, even if it means she is no longer pure and could start a war between the four Fae courts? Find out in Book #3 of the Kings of Avalier series and stay tuned as I head to the last book which is about the Wolf King.
