Review: Curvy - Alexa Riley - February 2016

Wanting an Insta-love story and smut to go along with it? When you read an Alexa Riley book, you know what you are going to get. You know that it will be an instant love story with sex and smut throughout the pages. What I loved about this book though was that the male lead was the one doing the chasing and wooing for a change.  That the female character Cali had everything in her court and she was the one that controlled everything and let it play out her way. Flynn Long's company has moved towards Lingerie, and his new advertising manager suggests healthier models rather than the skinny twigs, models that everyone can relate too. Cali Carr is a plus-size model, and as soon as Flynn sees her picture, he is hooked and knows that she is "the one." Can Flynn prove to Cali that he wants her and only her? Can Cali put up with the caveman act and find herself falling for Flynn? The other thing I loved about this book was the Warning attached to it - Warning: Over the top isn't strong enough for what this short story is. It's velvety sweetness coated in instant-love cheese, and it's waiting for you to take a bite. This sums up an Alexa Riley book perfectly, like her other books this too is a quick read romance which is great for that lunchtime reading.
