You ever have those days that you try and read something and you just find that nothing sticks with you? That's how I felt and so scrolling, I came across Penny Reid which I know that I always enjoy and so I started reading it. Live and Let Grow was a nice quick read and we are introduced to Alice who is best friends with Milo while is a traveling professor, she waters his plants and takes care of things for him. Alice also has a big secret, she is head over heels in love with Milo. She finally has worked up the courage to leave him a letter and tell him her feelings. She rings her sister but of course, she tells her sister that this is a bad idea and now Alice is worried and tries internet dating. When Milo returns, he feels lost as Alice is ignoring him and he doesn't know why - he thinks it's because she's dating the guy he saw her with at the University.
