Warrior Ascended: The Sons of the Zodiac

Review : Warrior Ascended - Addison Fox - March 2010

A millennium ago , the Greek Goddess Themis noticed that the world had lost its sense of balance so she struck up a deal with her husband Zeus. To create an army of Immortal Warriors to bring justice to the world. However as this was all about balance , Zeus agreed with conditions of his own - his daughter Enyo would be the Goddess of War and for every battle she lost, she would lose power and every battle she won against the Warriors- she would gain power. In the modern world, Brody Talbot is the warrior known as Leo the Lion and he has been summoned to protect Museum Curator and daughter of the infamous Russell Harrison - Ava Harrison as Russell discovered a series of stones called The Summoning Stones , which when in the right hands could either save or destroy the world. Russell was murdered and now the stones has fallen to Ava. Is Ava like her father the chosen one ? What will happen when Ava finally realises that she is in pure danger and that there are bigger forces riding on the stones than she or any mere mortal could ever imagine? . As the story goes on we see the love between Brody and Ava blossom but unfortunately as an Immortal warrior , is there a way he can love Ava without defying his true calling as a Zodiac Warrior?.
The Sons of the Zodiac is a great series and I hope to read more of Addison Fox's work as if the rest of the series are anything like this first book, then it is bound to be a hit and a popular read among the society of Paranormal Romance readers.
