Review: McKenzie's Oregon Operation - Camp Club Girls Book #11 - Shari Barr - November 2010
Reading on Netgalley, I have been lucky enough to follow the Camp Club Girls series as a fan of Melody Carlson's Harborview Series , these ones come to a close second place. In McKenzie's Oregon Operation , we read as McKenzie and Alexis team up for a holiday. McKenzie has won an essay competition and has decided to film the lion pups at Seaworld and tagging along for the journey is fellow Camp Club Girlz Alexis. The girls story starts during a sailing trip when they are almost killed by a dangerous boater and then the girls find a hidden cove. After an adventurous first day, the girls head back to the resort only to witness the complaints and demands of two sea lion trainers The Franks. What makes the girls suspicious of them, is that they are the same couple who nearly ran them over. The following day, it is discovered that two Sea Lions Mario and Bianca have been kidnapped and now it's up to McKenzie and Alexis with the help of their friends via IM and Emails to discover who stole the Sea Lions and Why, though the girls will have to solve it quick and be sneaky before they find themselves in danger over their heads.
