Review: A Kiss Goodbye - Audrey Penn

Are you loving the Children's series "Chester the Raccoon" ?

A Kiss Goodbye

Review: A Kiss Goodbye - Audrey Penn - July 2007

What I really enjoy about reading Audrey's series of Chester the Raccoon is that they all follow a particular pattern and are about an issue that is relevant to children , whether it be starting a new school, bullying or sharing . It is also written in a format that is easy for children to read and listen too and at 32pgs long, it is a quick read. In a Kiss Goodbye, we discover Chester and his family are moving trees and Chester is worried about having to say Goodbye to everything and everyone and leaving all his friends behind. So as we know from reading previous books, Chester's mother is very big on Kisses and she gets him to Kiss everything goodbye and when Chester and his family finally move, it's not that big of a deal and guess what - Chester makes a new friend already.
A Kiss Goodbye is the perfect book to read to your child to explain about moving house and moving towns.
