Review: Wherever Nina Lies - Lynn Weingarten

Are you wanting a teen book , that sends you off on a mystery ?

Wherever Nina Lies
Review: Where Nina Lies - Lynn Weingarten - Feb 2010
This was probably one of the best mysteries for teens that I have read so far, the story starts with Ellie whose sister Nina has been missing for two years , disappearing one afternoon without a trace. Ellie has never wanted to give up , so when one Friday Ellie and her friend Amanda are searching through a box on what is known as Crap Friday - Ellie spots a picture that her sister Nina drew and on the back of the letter is a phone number and a flyer for a band playing that night. Ellie decides to attend the band's gig in hope to finding out more information about her sister , the night leads her into the arms of Sean and over the next few pages we see Ellie together with Sean put their thinking caps on to trace down Nina's whereabouts . The journey takes them to Nebraska and from there on we start to see pictures that Nina has drawn pop up as Ellie uses them as clues to find where Nina is next. As the story gets on though, we see Sean has been hiding a dark secret and he knows more than he is letting on as he may or may not have been the last to see Nina before she disappeared two years ago. A novel that will keep you guessing and wondering whatever happened to Nina and whether or not the clues will lead to what Ellie is hoping for.
