Beautiful Dead # 2 : Arizona

I know we are never to judge a book by it's cover, but no matter how hard I try sometimes I can't help it. The Beautiful Dead are one series where I am in total love with their covers. I have come to the conclusion that a lot of the supernatural/fantasy books always have the most amazing cover artwork. Take a look for yourself . Cover #4 represents today's book review.

Review : Beautiful Dead #2 : Arizona - Eden Maguire -2009

After a freak finding in Book One : Jonas , Darina found the local hide-out of the four students that had died the previous year. Each one was to remain on earth , to find out what really happened to them and for the truth to be revealed in order for them to move on to their resting places. A bit like hanging out in limbo. For Darina , she has been given the gift of being the only human to see them and with her help she can communicate with the living and find out their true cause of death.
Still reeling over the death of her boyfriend Phoenix ,which book #4 is about Darina must get with reality and start her checklist with the first thing to tick off - the wake for Bob Johnson "Jonas's Father". Then she must move on to her most important mission before Arizona's year is up and find out how she drowned and why ?
For Arizona It's been ten months since she drowned in Hartmann Lake. Suicide, it was ruled out as . But something doesn't add up. Drowning herself in a hidden-away lake does not sound like something that the  strong, confident, Arizona: Ellerton High School's high-maintenance drama queen would do .
Now with a deadline of 2 months , Darina must find out exactly what happened to her on the night of her death and she better hurry as somebody else has found out her secret and the Beautiful Dead gang are in danger of exposing themselves.
