Review : The German - Paul Mercer The German is a novel set in the time prior , during and after World War II. The German follows the story of Freddie Kessler and how his life turned out due to tragedy and horrible incident that happened when he was sixteen years old. This novel is R18 as it does deal with a chapter or two on a sexual molestation attack between a gang of older males and a young boy and in some parts can go into a minor bit of detail e.g licking his face etc. The story then fast forwards to the start of Hitler's regime and World War II in August 1938. Freddie Kessler is twenty years old , has just finished college and has never had a girlfriend due to his experience as a teenager it has made him put a guard around himself as I could only imagine how gruesome an attack and the deadly consequences after reading many books etc

I couldn't find the exact book cover to go with this review of a novella by author Miranda Neville , so I decided to browse on Google images for some pictures of Romance Novel Cover Art and though this one is set outside , I thought it was a beautiful cover depicting the art of romance heightened and described in these novels.                                                    Review : Beautiful Child - Torey Hayden -2003 Torey is a child Psychologist and has written a number of books that are in our library . Beautiful child is about Torey taking a teaching position in a school for 6 children with challenging behaviours from Billy - The Aspergers Child , Jesse - Tourettes Syndrome , Shane and Zane - The Twins with Autism and little Venus whom comes from a dysfunctional and abusive family . In this story the main focus is on Venus and how one teacher-Torey can change a little girls life . When we first met Venus , she does not speak at all and by the end of the book she is speaking in full sentences. All the stories in the book are based on true case studies and accounts. Read as the superhero She-Ra gets a little girl out of her shell . An amazing written book that I recommend to anyone interested in Child Psychology.
