Review: Last Night at Chateau Marmot - Lauren Weisberger - 2010

Chick lit author Lauren Weisberger has brought us novels of The Fashion Industry with Devil Wears Prada , The Public Relations industry with Everybody worth knowing and a The Amazing race with Chasing Harry Winston which gave Tiffany's a run for their money as it was like Tiffany who ? and now with her new book "Last Night at Chateau Marmot" she brings us into the world of a rock star and the celebrity musician industry.
The novel starts out with husband and wife Brooke and Julian Alter, Brooke is busy working two jobs as a dietitian and nutritionist while her husband Julian works his way up to becoming a famous singer. Brooke is at the top of her game with glowing recommendations and feedback but that is all about to change as her happy life with Julian is about to succumb to pressure and unravel. When Julian recieves announcements that he is to become the next big thing , he and Brooke are estactic and so begins a journey of Julian's road to fame , however soon Brooke will start to be distracted and find her world overtaken by Julian's fame from a loss of control, loss of job and worse Brooke is about to feel the impact of tabloids and paparazzi . When a scandal happens involving Julian , will this be the end of his and Brooke's happy marriage and life together or will this be the wake-up call that Julian and Brooke need to get their priorities straight and marriage back on track.
With Last Night @ Chateau Marmont, experience the Heartbreak, The Gossip and Scandal with author Lauren Weisberger. An Author that I look forward to reading more of in the future.
