666 Park Avenue: A Novel

Review- 666 Park Avenue - Gabriella Pierce - February 2011

When Jane met Malcolm Doran at an art auction , her acquiring pieces for a wealthy client and him - a wealthy man wanting to build his art collection . They talked and exchanged numbers and left it at that, then of course he rang. Soon Jane is swept up into a world of money, wealth and all the riches you could ever dream of . When after a month, of being together Malcolm asks Jane to marry him , she of course says YES !. It seems that plain Jane is about to start living in her very own fairytale. It's the life every girl has ever dreamed of. On a visit, to her grandmothers house though, Jane is in for a shock as she finds her grandmother gone and a letter left behind explaining to Jane about her true origins and the fact that Jane is in fact a witch. Which to Jane is preposterous as witches only exist in fairytale books .  Read as we watch Jane cope with her revelation of witchiness and watch as she goes up against her mother-in-law who is more like Jane Fonda in Monster-In-Law.
666 Park Avenue is a tale of Jane's path and her journey to discovering who she really is and the nasty realities of Mother-in-laws and Bridezillas.
