Review: Tick Tock - James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge
Are you a fan of James Patterson's Novels ? Loving the Detective Michael Bennett Series ?
Review: Tick Tock - Book #3 Michael Bennett Series - January 2011
As always the James Patterson novels have various covers , I had the edition with the cover on the right, which I personally prefer as the one on the left looks a bit blah.
In Tick Tock , we are presented with James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge's Detective Michael Bennett . Michael Bennett and his family have decided that it is time for a Vacation, so they travel down to Breezy Point , however things aren't that great as we all remember that Michael's family is a rainbow coloured family of ten children whom he and his late wife Maeve ( very irish name) adopted , along with his family is their nanny Mary Catherine aka MC and Michael's Grandfather a late-bloomer to priesthood Seamus . It seems that his children aren't fitting in as they become targets of bullies and one family in particular - the Flahertys. We read as Michael puts on his Father hat to protect his children and try and have the best vacation ever . Unfortunately though, being a Detective means that even on vacation you are on the clock , as a call comes in that somebody is re-creating crimes of famous serial killers. We read as Michael teams up with the FBI which includes a pretty agent Emily Parker who has Michael in decision mode as he is tied between MC and Emily.
What started out as a hope for a peaceful vaction turned into a murderous bllodbath and recarnations of serial killers. Now its a race of time as the clock goes "Tick Tock".
As always a fabulous novel by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge and for all those fans of his other books , Im looking forward to Toys , Private London and Tenth Anniversary.
