Back Spin (Myron Bolitar Mysteries)

Review: Back Spin - Myron Bolitar Series - Harlan Coben - August 2009

After reading Harlan Coben's latest novel "Live Wire" , I thought that I had actually read everything by him but then this book came through returns at work, though the cover above is much nicer and interesting cover than I read and I definitely prefer this one better , I picked the book up and read the blurb and discovered that in fact I had not yet read this book. Back Spin takes us into the world of golfing and Win Lockwood . Home of the Lockwood's , Merion Golf course is the current Opens Tournament when Myron is approached by Win's Uncle to help in a problem, his grandson has been kidnapped. Though of course , Myron is a tad suspicious as things aren't adding up and this does not seem like your usual kidnapping. We soon discover , things are about to hit rock bottom and there's more than meets the eye as Win's Uncle Bucky's Son-in-law turns up murdered. The one thing that stood out for me is that unlike all the other Myron Bolitar stories, if you are a Win fan - this will end up your favourite as we delve into Win's past and his family secrets and the truth of Win and his mother's enstrangment.
Back Spin is the perfect read for any Harlan Coben and Myron Bolitar and last but not least fans of Win Lockwood .
