Review: Rage - Horsemen of the Apocalypse Book #2 - Jackie Morse Kessler - April 2011

In Hunger we saw Lisa become the Famine Horsemen after trying to kill herself via Anorexia and in Rage, the second book in this series that I absolutely love and the cover artwork is also amazing is Missy aka Melissa. If you are a fan of the edgy content books then you will love these as Missy is a cutter via razor blades. When her boyfriend dumps her , she starts to find that the only way to release her pain is via cutting. A week before everything went downhill for Missy, the Angel of Death appeared and presented her with a white box to open when she was ready to accept her fate and destiny. The week goes by and her ex-boyfriend Adam invites her to a party, Missy accepts and soon realises that it was a big set-up and Adam succeeded in humilating her in front of everyone. This pushed her to her limit, so she rushes home to cut herself, release the pain -however there is no stopping Missy and she finds herself dying and remembers the box - she opens and discovers a Sword . We then meet up again with the Angel of Death as he explains to Missy that she can have a second chance at life , this time by becoming the Horsemen of War. Can Missy learn to overcome and control her powers before chaos breaks out and what will happen when Liz aka Famine and Missy aka War go head to head?
Find out in this wonderful sequel and I hope for more to come as I am loving this series.
