Do Over

Review: Do Over - Mari Carr - October 2010

Faith Wainwright is feeling homesick and well- plain lonely, it seems that now her youngest has gone off to college , she is experiencing a bit of empty nest syndrome. However , when she decides to visit her mother one day and her husband Troy at a golf game, she expects him away all day. So when he shows up at her mother's unexpectedly with an old gym bag and instructions for her too be quick and put on the outfit in the bag, she wonders what is up. She is in for the shock of her life as her tough as nails husband has organised a twenty-five years anniversary present titled "A Trip Down Memory Lane" and includes their old "hot spots" , photos and a letter he wrote about each location and their first experiences there. If that wasn't enough he has also organised for them to get their vows renewed. A Do-Over for the past twenty five years of mistakes they have encountered. This is one of the most romantic books that I have ever read , I loved it too pieces and I highly recommend this book for all those "closet romantics" to read and if you want to give your guy tips on being the perfect romantic and what he can get out of it as there is racy and sexual encounters included , then this is one you have to lend him. It is also a quick read at only 99 pages long.
