Wait! (Oxley College)

Review: Wait - Book #2 Oxley College Series - Stacey Nash - April 2015

In Book #1 we had Logan Hays story where he found Liv , the light at the end of the tunnel for him - the bright spark in a dark life. Now in Book #2 Wait, we meet Jordan Hays - this is Logan's younger brother who is off to college to study Nursing as ever since his sister Kayla's death, he figured he wanted to become a nurse so he could save others to make up for the fact that part of him couldn't save Kayla from her death. At College , he meets Hex - a girl who lives on the same floor as him. She reminds him alot of Kayla which is one of the reason he is drawn to her as he watches her drinking and partying the way his sister did to drown her problems away. Hex whose real name is Alexis , comes from a broken family which she believes is her fault - hence the name change. It seems that fate has put Hex and Jordan together as they reluctantly become friends and then possibly a little bit more throughout the novel. The thing is though that Jordan had a side thing - a no-strings attached with Penny, his boss's daughter and now she has threatened him with his job. Can Jordan stand up for what's right or will he keep his mouth shut and follow her rules in order to keep his job which he needs to help pay his way through college ?  Can Jordan and Hex both get their happily ever afters - for now and realise the truth about gaining acceptance .
Wait! by Stacey Nash  is a story about acceptance, learning to trust and in turn love while facing life's unexpected difficulties.
