In a sense she became an orphan -her mother died and father in prison 4.  Broke and Penniless , She tries to make it as a Dish Washer in a resturant 5.She finds herself having to go from Park Princess to Bohemian Chic and read as we see whether Charlotte can make it in the world of rags .
