#VBT - Friends Forever - Pen Pal Gals Series - Julie Thiessen - February 2022 Friends Forever was a quick chapter book read at only 36 pages and the perfect reader for girls aged 7-8 years old as it not only has a good number of words but also has a mixture of colored illustrations to keep their attention and not overwhelm the reader with too many words as these days, a lot of children prefer a good balance of illustrations and words when reading otherwise it can be seen as a daunting task.  This series would have been right up my alley when I was 6-7 years old as I love the idea of pen pals and writing and at the back of this book also includes some letter-writing paper to write to your pen pals.
