Review: Saving the Seas for the Purple and Green - Nancy Carlisle - March 2022 Working now at the House of Science which helps provide science resources to primary school students, I am becoming more aware of the environment and all things science-y orientated and that includes plastics and pollution. One of the kits we have is called "A Load of Rubbish" and lately I've watched a few videos based on the amount of pollution in the waters. Also a few years ago when I worked at the library, we did a school visit based on this topic as well. Saving the Seas by Nancy Carlisle is about a young girl named Violet who loves the ocean and the beach. One day, she heads down there and is shocked at how much rubbish is there.
