Review : On Her Father's Grave - Book #1 Rogue River Novella Series - Kendra Elliot - October 2014 People who know me well and those who often read my reviews will know that I have this weird tendency to read series out of order. It is never intentional, it just seems to happen more often than not. This particular series is one that I have read out of order over the years. I have finally finished it and funnily enough with Book #1. It's a good thing that I do remember what I read as I started this book and was instantly transported to the town of Solitude, Oregon, and remembered the other books I have read in this series. Review: Targeted - Book #4 Callahan and McLane Series - Kendra Elliot - June 2016 After reading a few bullymances in a row, I decided it was time to read a mystery book and as I was undecided what to read, I picked up a Kendra Elliot as she never fails me as I find she is one of my favorite female mystery authors. Targeted is set during Halloween and brings out the love of Horror movies into this book. We are also reunited with the characters, Mason Callahan and Ava McLane. The story starts with Mason and three of his law enforcement buddies out camping when he wakes up the next morning and finds his captain Denny dead wearing a Pinhead mask. The book then jumps to Ava and her partner Zander (FBI) being called as the MO of the Halloween mask matches one of their previous agent’s murder as he was wearing a Freddy Krueger mask. Review: Vanished - Book #1 Callahan and McLane Series - Kendra Elliot - June 2014 Scrolling through my kindle looking for a book to reach my 350th read for the year, I came across a mystery read from Kendra Elliot as she is one of my favorite indie mystery female authors. I have read a few later books that featured Mason Callahan and Ava McLane and Vanished it shows how the two characters met.  One of Mason's CI has just been murdered and during the investigation, he gets a call from his ex-wife Robin. She needs his help as her stepdaughter Henley has been abducted on her way to school this morning. Mason arrives and the FBI is there and here he will become the family liaison and he will meet Ava who will be one of the main FBI agents on the case.
