Review: Into the Jungle - Erica Ferencik - January 2021 This book had me captured by the cover, as it sounded like something I might enjoy. The book starts by introducing us to Lily, a foster kid from the US. She had come to Bolivia in hopes of teaching English to students, but soon discovers it was a scam. With no money and no chance of heading back home, Lily puts her skills as a street kid to use and starts stealing what she can and meets some new friends. During this time, she meets a guy called Omar. He is a native and from a small jungle tribe. Omar dreams of being a Jungle guide and needs someone to help teach him English and he has his eyes set on Lily. The pair started working together and then slowly fall in love. During this time, Omar is contacted that he must return home to his village as his nephew has been killed by a jaguar and his family needs him. Lily makes the impulsive decision to come with Omar to his village, not realizing fully that this will be the last time ...

Review: Seeking Her - Book #3.5 Losing It/ Finding It Series - Cora Carmack - January 2014 This particular book was one that I was scrolling through on my kindle wanting something to read and figured It was about high time I cleared it off the kindle and read it. I knew without a doubt I would enjoy it as this series is what is considered early New Adult Romance and before the eBook world become saturated with self-published novels. This was good writing and books that anyone especially if you were aged between 18-35 could enjoy. It was realistic, romantic, and gritty at the same time. This particular series I have read all of the book’s years ago, but somehow never got around to this one until now. In Seeking Her, it is the prequel before Book #4 which is Finding It which featured a lengthier story between Jackson Hunt and Kelsey Summers. In Seeking Her, Jackson is on his last chance after being kicked out of the military and thanks to his dad's connections been given a job as a...

It sounded intriguing and once I got started, I was sucked into a crazy ride that, to be honest, makes me never want to backpack across Europe, etc, or travel by myself ever or with strangers as you never know what anyone might be capable of. In this book, we meet Violet who has just been dumped by her boyfriend Sam, and Carrie whose friend Laura broke her leg and had to return home. The two end up meeting in the bar one evening and devise a plan to travel together. They hit it off and things seem to be going well, that is until one night with a shaman, etc then crazy things start to occur and we learn that Violet isn't who she said she was and the story unravels as we learn Violet's true identity and that Carrie's life might be in danger but has Violet finally meet her match with Carrie as two can play the game and there can only be one winner.  Vi...
