VBT# Doctoroo and the Case of the Picnic Pirates by Dr. Rachel Wellner and Illustrated by Irina Dringova - January 2023 In this fun children's story, Doctor Roo is back, and this time she has been called to help a group of bears known as the Pirates in America. They are due to perform at the 4th July Picnic as the entertainment, but they have all come down with a strange sickness, and no matter what, the organizer can't seem to get them healthy and motivated. Doctor Roo and her team from Australia, pack up their things and head to the US and visit Washington State where they meet the captain of the Picnic Pirates and the event organizers. The Doctor and his friends meet the bear cubs and soon start trying to diagnose them. Eventually, they are discovered to have been pulling off a Yogi Bear and eating too many picnic baskets.
