Marie Alexander - September 2019 This book is an edgy read and starts off with a bang - literally as we are faced with a stand-off between Roxy's nanny and her father. The book then jumps to Roxy being found curled up in the snow by brothers Josh and Wran. Wran blames Roxy for their problems as his father used to work for Roxy's dad and when he did what he did, their father lost his job and started drinking heavily. On the other hand, though, Wran finds himself drawn to Roxy and wants to protect her. The book then jumps to Roxy being 17 almost 18 years old and working her time between school and her job as a waitress.
