Review: Someone to Kiss My Scars - Brooke Skipstone - October 2019 Needing a book to read before bed, I was scrolling and clicked on this book. I was going in blind as I didn't know what this one was about or could remember. I had previously read one of this author's books before that was a little odd, so had expected maybe something similar. The book starts with Hunter who can't seem to remember anything from his past, but lately, he has been having strong visions of people's stories and they all feature around sex whether it be a shame, abuse, or romance. As the book goes along, his best friend Jazz - will do some scientific experiments around memories and learn that Hunter is seeing the bad memories and those deep in the mind that are causing pain. In doing so though will this help Hunter unlock his memories and with Jazz by his side, will he be strong enough to relive the trauma he has tried to block or will it be another repeat that will cause more scars? Review: Have a Little Faith in Me - Sonia Hartl - September 2019 Ever felt Deja vu when you are reading a book and like, I swear I have read this story before but all signs point to you not. That's what I felt like with Have a Little Faith in Me by Sonia Hartl and of course, it's going to annoy me as I can't for the life of me remember the book, I was thinking about yet I can see the cover and the plot is familiar. Have a Little Faith in Me was a fun YA Christian / Worldly read as we meet Cece whose boyfriend Ethan has broken up with her because he wishes to become a "born again Virgin" and get back into God. CeCe is heartbroken and devises a plan to win him back by showing she is on board with all this god stuff by becoming a counselor at the same camp he is headed to this summer. Camp ThreeSixteen, which is of course named after the famous John 3:16 bible verse. CeCe is readily armed with her best friend Paul for support as he knows his bible being a Pastor...

Review: While You Were Spying - Book #1 Love Undercover Series - Stina Lindenblatt - February 2020 This book had sounded fun as I love spy stories and characters going undercover and it sounded in the blurb that it could be a fun story. I loved this book and it was great for the first in the series. I found myself connecting to the main female lead Izzy aka Isabelle. Izzy reminded me of Stephanie Plum from the Janet Evanovich series of the same title and Izzy Spellman from The Spellman Files by Lisa Lutz. She works for a security firm that hires operatives that are like Spies. She is their office manager and dreams of being a field operative. The problem though is that the guys see her like a little sister and need protection. They don't see her as operative material, especially not her best friend/roommate Jayden who is one of the operatives. When a new case pops up that requires Izzy to go into the field as Jayden's fake wife, she sees this as a chance t...
