Review: The Strangers We Know - Pip Drysdale - December 2019 This past week has been a bit of a slow reading week for me, but I did manage to clear a couple of books off my bookshelf including The Strangers We Know by Pip Drysdale. In this book, we first meet Charlie who has broken up with her longtime boyfriend Josh and mourning it in the bar. Here she meets Oliver and ends up going home with him. The couple have a whirlwind romance and are heavily in love. Life is perfect and the pair get married and things are going great. That is until Charlie sees on her friend's dating app a picture of her husband - it can't be, but she knows the picture as it was taken on their honeymoon. Review: The Mistletoe Motive - Chloe Liese - December 2021 Have you ever felt that you just don't quite fit in and that life can be a little awkward sometimes? That you wish there were book characters a little more like you? Then Chloe Liese is the author for you. I love this author as she writes all her characters with some kind of disability representation whether it be a simple medical issue like Diabetes or Celiac disease to a proper disability diagnosis like Deafness or Autism/Aspergers Spectrum. Growing up in my family, my mum and two siblings were on the Autistic spectrum and despite myself not being diagnosed, I do know that I have a couple of traits - very hard not to when the genetic link is very strong. Review: Girls Who Lie - Book #4 Mercy Harbor Thriller Series - Melinda Woodhall - November 2019 I have been enjoying the Mercy Harbor Series by Melinda Woodhall and Book #4 was as good as the others. We had our mystery element with a stalker who seems to be killing females whom he calls "liars" as they are females who are willing to step out on their prospective partners/ husbands and cheat. They are being targeted on a dating site that was a bit like Tinder which of course has IRL has had several murders connected to matches, one of the most famous in New Zealand is the Grace Milane case.
