Review: The Cabin - Book #3 The Ranch Series - Erin Lee and Chelsi Davis - March 2018 Have you ever read a series that makes you think, what a crazy ride? For me, that was The Ranch series by Erin Lee and Chelsi Davis. At the end of Book # 2, we saw Suzie's mother calling the cops and blaming everything on Heather. Heather was arrested and sent to the psych ward in hospital and Suzie left to look after baby Elliott. At the beginning of The Cabin, Suzie tracks down Heather at the hospital and the pair escape along with Suzie's truckload of kids. Like the previous books, we see a few people killed along the way as they are standing in the way of Suzie and Heather's freedom plan. I have to admit, this pair is crazy and should be renamed The Cray twins. There's a moment in the book where I think things are finally going to come crashing down for the pair but that final page with Grant, Heather, and Suzie. Review: Moving On - Book #2 The Ranch Series - Erin Lee and Chelsi Davis - January 2018 At the end of Book # 1, we read as Heather went to get rid of Suzie. This backfires of course, and the girls we see have this whole love/hate relationship going on, you can tell it's an unhealthy friendship, but they get each other - the dark sides and they accept the other, crazy and all. The girls are on the run with the two Bobs who are the only ones who can connect them to the incident. The two end up in Bob Two cabin. And learn that he has been siphoning off their ideas and eventually both Bob's are eliminated . Heather and Suzie also discover that Grant and Bob Two have been working together to gather evidence against Heather and Suzie that could put them in prison for life, not to mention free Grant whom they have been framing for the murders on The Ranch. Just when things start to pick up again for the girls and their lives returning to their sort of...

Books that have an edgy side to them and can often be gruesome in parts and have a suspense level to them. One of my favorite authors is also Erin Lee. So of course, when The Ranch was released - I got it immediately and knew I wanted to read it. I was in the mood to read it after seeing the release of Book #2. As soon as I opened the book, I got a gruesome part as a woman was being killed using the historic torture of rats gnawing through flesh. The Ranch turns out to be a business that two best friends Heather and Suzie decided to make into a business. The business is called The Ranch: Moving On and giving Karma is their specialty. The Ranch secretly is also an assassin business. They get paid to dish out torture and the punishments that the person has paid them to do.  The book took an interesting twist with the ending as the ...
