Review: Just a Little Promise - Book #4 Just a Little - Tracie Puckett - January 2012 In Book #4 Julie says goodbye to a friend Derek as he is wanting to start a new life as his sister is headed to prison and he knows that Julie will never love him the way he wants. Julie also is still pursuing her love for Luke and he has finally admitted to Julie that he does love her but now Julie and Luke's relationship is not going forward as well as they both wanted it as Uncle Charlie isn't happy with the age gap. We also read more into Luke's relationship with his father Lonnie and why it fell apart as in the previous book - Lonnie said his son was "dead" to him. The town is also praising Luke for being a town hero with his float designed by Julie and Grace ( Luke's stepmother). Can Julie help Luke repair the relationship with his father as they nearly lost him once before?  I have read the first four books in this series and each one was a quick read and a clean YA ...

Review: Just a Little Sincerity - Book #3 Just a Little - Tracie Puckett - January 2012 Picking up where Book #2 ended with the cliffhanger ending, it had me worried as the book started with Julie at the cemetery as she was talking to a gravestone. Further down the book, we see Luke is on the mend but his and Julie's relationship is still as complicated as ever. In Book #3, Julie has found a passion in organizing the school fall dance but what happens when a bad storm hits the town and Julie finds herself in danger when she decides to leave after an argument. The love triangle is still hinting in this book as Derek and Julie start spending time together at the school dance, but will Julie realize that she isn't getting anywhere with Luke and has a great guy standing in front of her, or will her heart be set on Luke and she has blinders on when it comes to Luke.  Book #3 ends on a slight cliffhanger as well with the effects of the storm on the small town. Review: Just a Little Embrace - Book #2 Just a Little Series - Tracie Puckett - January 2012 In Book #2 Julie has now completed ten hours with the police station and during this time has gotten to know Luke a lot better. However, instead of the crush leaving her though it has only intensified and it looks like that despite Luke wanting to deny that he has feelings, he certainly does for Julie. He better hurry up as some new neighbors Derek and Hannah have moved in next door to Julie and Matt and Derek has his eyes on Julie. He wants to get to know her better. Hannah though has hated Julie from the get-go and at the end of this book, we will learn the reasons for that. It also makes the end of this book have an OMG NOOOOOOOOOO moment as you are like this can't be happening, not now anyway. Unlike the other books in this series, book #2 does end on a massive cliffhanger that will have your heart feeling like it has been pulled from your chest and broken into a million pieces. Out o...
