Review: Tempting Taste - Book #1 Cinnamon Roll Alphas - Sara Whitney - February 2020 Lately, I had been in a bit of a bookish slump where everything I keep trying is just not grabbing me at all. Scrolling through my kindle, this book looked fun with its bright cover and seemed like something that would hit the spot. As I started it, I was into it with our bright fiery red-headed character Josie standing up for poor souls on the train and then our Viking-like male Erik. What I loved about this book was that it had a role reversal where the female was a marketing executive/ businesswoman and the guy despite his stereotypical looks and body shape and the fact he was a farm boy/ football player - loved to bake cakes and was darn good at what he did. Josie meets Erik on the train initially but their second encounter is when the sparks fly as Erik is baking for Dora who is as prejudiced and racist as they come which causes Erik to quit and then be without a job.
