Richards, no matter what book she has released I have loved them as they all have a feel of the 90s/2000s slasher film styles. This book starts with Jo and five of her colleagues finishing work at the cinema. It is all their last night as the mall is being pulled down and made into condos and apartments. It is closing time and all they need now is to get their cellphones off the boss but tonight, their boss is on edge and acting more creepy than usual. The lights go out and the group hears screaming. They discover one of their co-workers is dead. She was the first to go and now locked in the mall complex, the group must survive the night.
