Review: Gone Wild - Dakota Madison

Review: Gone Wild - Dakota Madison - May 2016 One of my all-time favourite authors and it doesn't matter what pen name she is using, I love all her books. Using her pen name Dakota Madison comes a new Novella series called Back to Bookman which features a smalltown university called Bookman University. In Gone Wild , we meet 46yr old Tenured Professor Dr. Blythe Daniels. She has always been a bookworm and one who has preferred the company of the printed word than people. She believes in education and doing your best, which has earned her a reputation for being a hard-ass. The thing is though, that she doesn't mean to be but it is the way she comes across. As she is getting older, she is starting to think about her future and loneliness creeps in. After an unsuccessful attendance of her 25th High School Reunion , Bly hops into her car and crashes as she swerves a little boy. Unfortunately the sheriff is not forgiving as back in his University days , Dr.Daniels failed him and...

Review: Awake at Dawn - Book #2 Shadow Falls Series - C.C Hunter - October 2011 Have you ever started a series and found it a tad boring and then years later , you go back to the series and find yourself loving it ? That's what has happened with me with the Shadow Falls Series. I wonder if it has to do with that these days I don't read Paranormal or Supernatural fiction as I got to the point where it was all the same. So now it's quite refreshing to read it as my mind isn't bombarded with that world. In Book #2 Kylie is back at the camp and knows that she can talk to the dead and see ghosts but she is about to discover that she has more abilities hidden from drinking blood to super strength . Is she a Vampire or a Werewolf ? Nobody knows and Kylie is getting sick of the unknown. If that wasn't enough to cloud her mind with , she still does not which boy she likes - Lucas or Derek and is getting mixed signals from the both of them. Personally I th...

Review: Born at Midnight - Book #1 Shadow Falls - C.C Hunter - March 2011 One night can change everything , after the day from hell when her parents announced they were getting a divorce and her dad leaving without her and not to mention her boyfriend Trey had dumped her for someone who would "put out". Kylie decided it was time to let off some steam and what better place than a party that her best friend Sara had convinced her to attend. Little did she know though was that this party was going to get busted by the cops and Kylie would find herself hauled to the police station. Apparently this incident causes Kylie's parents to freak out and they send her off to a Summer Camp called Shadow Falls. When Kylie arrives though , she is in for a sure surprise as this camp isn't for the normal kind but for supernaturals and teens with special gifts. All Kylie knows is that she isn't like them , but what happens when she discovers inklings and memories...
