Review: Prom Queen - Laura Wolfe - October 2023 Since COVID-19, the world of Podcasts has become more popular especially when it comes to true crime and serial killers, even cold cases have been solved. Now that world is being developed into books with stories being set around true crime podcasts and a small-town unsolved cold case. Prom Queen was one of those books and unlike Carrie where the Prom Queen was covered in pig blood and set fire to the gym, this Prom Queen died on Prom night wearing the crown. For twenty years it was written down as a suicide, but for a few of those who knew Bailey - they always thought someone had murdered her. Now Twenty years later, Hannah is in town and part of her crime podcast - she is doing an expose on the cold case that is Bailey as it is coming up to the twentieth anniversary and she also received an anonymous tip that one of her friends killed her. Hannah though is about to stir up old memories, old and new vendettas as the remaining classmates ...

Review: The Prom Queen - Book #15 Fear Street Series - RL Stine - March 1992 Recently I saw that Netflix was bringing RL Stine's series Fear Street to Television and one of the books they were looking at showcasing was The Prom Queen. Growing up in the late 90s about 96-98, I was a fan of RL Stine's book series Goosebumps. They were my first venture into horror fiction. Today's book was interesting to read as the publication release happened when I was four years old and didn't turn five till July 1992.  As a teen, I skipped over Fear Street and focused my attention on the Point Horror books. It's Prom season at Shadyside High and Five friends have been named as Prom Queen Candidates - Simone, Elana, Rachel, Dawn, and Libby.  What happens though when Simone disappears and all tha...

Review: Prom Queen - Book #3 Bad Boy Homecoming Series - Katee Robert - June 2017 Jessica Jackson and Jake Davis were the IT couple of their high school. He was the football star and headed places with his possible sports career, and Jessica was the cheerleader and Miss Popular but also the mean girl. Their happiness was short-lived though as they broke up and went their separate ways. Now ten years later it's time for their high school reunion. Jessica isn't looking forward to going as she was the ultimate Mean Girl at their high school and wrecked havoc with everyone. Think Blair from Gossip Girl meets Regina George from Mean Girls and you have Jessica Jackson. Her life though isn't filled with the glamor she had hoped for, and in fact, she is single too. Dreading going back to the reunion especially since she isn't the same girl she was then as she had a Saul/Paul moment. Jessica's friends tell her about this site where they can hire d...
