Review: Bound to Happen - Jonathon Shannon - August 2023 This book caught my attention with the whole idea of missed connections and soulmates and then the geeky storyline of our main characters. But wowza this was such an amazing read and if you ever had any doubts that guys cannot write romance, then you need to stop what you are doing and read Bound to Happen as this is a testament to guys being able to write romantic love stories but not soppy ones. This hit all the right spots for me, especially in the fact that it is a slow-burn romance right up to the very last page normally I cannot stand slow-burn romances as they seem to drag on and on but this one just worked perfectly and it needed to be a slow burn for the story to play out.
