Review: Missing Parts - Lucinda Berry - September 2016 Have you ever read a book that has made you feel super angry after you have finished it? For me, it can be very rare for me to feel angry in general life as I try to stay positive and optimistic and live a happy life, but after reading Missing Parts by Lucinda Berry, God it made me feel so much anger and this was one of those reads where the bad guy frickin wins. I had to scream when this book finished and I was F You David, that is how mad and wild it made me feel. The book starts with Celeste and David finally having a miracle baby after trying for years and having an array of miscarriages etc. Celeste though seeing as she is the main earner, goes back to work and David is a stay-at-home dad. Review: The Dare - Natasha Preston - May 2024 One of my favorite YA thriller authors is Natasha Preston and The Dare, this was another twisted YA read and I have to say I did not see this ending coming exactly, it was WOW- such a twisted and complex ending that in the end made this book worth reading. It's senior year and at Marley's high school, that means it's prank time which is given by the most popular boys in the school which this year is Rhett's turn. Rhett and Marley when they were younger were good friends but drifted apart. Marley hates this part as the pranks tend to ruin good people's lives and unlike Rhett's family who can buy themselves out of trouble, not everyone can. Review: The Bitch Cup - Zachary Ryan - August 2023 I previously read a series called High School Queens by Zachary Ryan which was a series about a new girl known as The Marked Queen who wanted to expose the secrets hidden in their school walls and become Queen Bee. The series was a fun YA thriller set in the high school cliques of Queen B's. When I saw that Zachary Ryan had a new one out, I clicked buy now as I thought I would enjoy the book. However, when I opened it, it was a story I was familiar with, and then went to High School Queens to make sure this wasn't a re-release. It wasn't though as a brand new high school Lincoln High and a group of new characters and the Queen had a new name. In The Bitch Cup we have The Shadow Queen.
