We would have father/daughter dates to the movies and watch horror/supernatural movies as my mum was a bit of a wimp when it came to scary movies. One of those films we watched together in 2009, was The Haunting in Connecticut. The movie was about a family whose son had been suffering from cancer and to help him recover and have a fresh start, they moved into an older Victorian home only to discover that it was haunted and held a just as scary history.
