Review: Private Princess - Book #14 Private Series - James Patterson and Rees Jones - May 2018 As a big reader, sometimes amidst the romance books I read I love to have a change and mystery novels are my go-to-reads. This one grabbed my attention as. F irst it was a Private novel featuring Jack Morgan and it had to do with the royal family. Private Princess takes us back to London where Jack and his team have been hired by the princess to find a missing person. As the team looks for her, the crew start coming up against danger as they are being hunted themselves. Who is out to kill the Private squad and ruin Jack Morgan? Is it to do with the case they are on or something more sinister. When it comes to the Private series for me, I either like the books, or I can't get into them. Private Princess was one that I could get into and read and as I had just seen the new Mission Impossible film recently - Fallout, the Jack Morgan Team reminded me of Tom Cruise...

Review: Private Vegas - James Patterson and Maxine Paetro

Review: Private Vegas - Book #9 Private Series - James Patterson and Maxine Paetro - January 2015 I often find the Private series touch and go as with the majority of the books written by James Patterson; it does depend on who his co-author is to how good the book is and whether I would enjoy it. As Private Vegas was written with Maxine Paetro, I knew I would like it as I am a fan of her Women's Murder Club series she also co-authors with James Patterson. We are back with Jack Morgan in the Las Vegas office, and like the previous books, people are still out to get Jack and bring his company Private Investigations down. One of his close mates and work partners is currently on trial for Murder, a crime he is being framed for and with his temper - he keeps looking guilty by the hour. Another of Jack's cars have been bombed which I have to admit is go-to in most crime novels and looks like this incident is tied to many others around the city and also inclu...

Review: Private Sydney - James Patterson and Kathryn Fox

Review: Private Sydney - Book #12 Private Series - James Patterson and Kathryn Fox - August 2015 As a big James Patterson fan, I always make it my goal to keep up to date with his numerous and wide amount of books and I often love reading some of his co-authors and certain series more than others. However, the last couple of James Patterson's books I read I wasn't too impressed with and struggled through them and I was hoping that Private Sydney wouldn't be like that as the co-author is a new one and I really enjoy the Private Series.  In Private Sydney, we are reunited with some of the cast from the Private Down Under book like Craig Gisto , Darlene, Mary and Johnny. We are also introduced to Colette who is the receptionist for Private in Sydney. The book starts out with a morning filled with mishaps from broken windows, to security systems being down and a possible breach of the Private's computer systems. It is a busy morning for the Private company...

Review: Private LA - Book #7 Private Series - James Patterson and Mark Sullivan - February 2014 Our main man Jack Morgan is back with his Private Branch and like always with James Patterson novels, there is lots going on and it definitely is not one book that will get boring with lots of twists and turns and different storylines. Private LA starts with a grooup of surfers all doped up who end up shot and their bodies lying in a fire , we discover that this is a group of disgruntled soldiers who want to rid the world of their greed and wish to see it suffer and unless they start to see the draining of the LA finances , they will not stop killing and of course living in the 21st century - social media is booming and unlike his earlier novels , this one plays a huge focus on social media and the attention it attracts and how quickly something can become viral and what can happen when the hits get high enough. The second storyline was that celebrity couple Jennifer and Thom ...
