Review: Stranger Danger - Maren Stoffels - May 2023 In the mood for a clean YA Thriller? This book though had a lot of edgy topics, it was written in a way that it came across clean at the same time.  The book starts with a new school year and we meet the new teacher Robin Schilds - she is on the bigger side and becomes the victim of bullying by three students Bittersweet aka Nova, her sidekick Lotus, and Nova's boyfriend Vin. Things become difficult for Robin and she ends up quitting and moving away. The story then jumps to a weekend away for the friends. The text is threatening and she starts to worry that someone knows her secret. Review: Saving Grace - Book #2.5 Love Under the Big Sky Series - Kristen Proby - November 2015 Saving Grace has been on my mind and so scrolling through my kindle, I decided to give it a read, and even better as it was a quick read as I managed to start and finish it on my lunch break so if you have 30 mins to spare then this is the read for you. I also loved that despite the fact it was an instalove, it wasn't just all sex. I loved the two main characters as they were "real". We have Grace who is a complete klutz and normally it would have annoyed me, her continuing about it but it worked for the book and, to be honest - it didn't feel OTT, it surprisingly worked for the story, and then we have Jacob Baxter who is our resident hottie billionaire. He is mistaken by Grace as her ski instructor and for a day, he plays ski instructor rather than the "boss" and he loves the fact that Grace loves him for him and not just because he is a rich English billionair...

Review: It Was All The Pie's Fault - Elizabeth SaFleur - February 2022 I was in two minds about this book as I loved the whole idea of a magical pie that grants your wishes as I love the idea of food being the magic of life and giving a positive spin and quirky outlook on everyday moments and I did love the male lead Nick - his character to me was perfect and from the first meeting, I felt he was the "good guy" and was cheering him on right through the story. Now the main female character was a whole different story, JFC I wanted to shake her and tell her to wake up and smell the coffee and taste her pie. She was so obsessed with Russell that she didn't see that she had a good guy and a nicest in front of her all the time.
