Review: Vanishing Girls - Book #1 Detective Josie Quinn Series - Lisa Regan - January 2018 Vanishing Girls starts with a bang as a little girl knows she is being stalked in the woods, the thing though is that no one believes her until one day she is taken. The book then jumps to the present and we meet Detective Josie Quinn who is currently on suspension from the force for using excessive force. While at a gas station, she not only learns that Isabelle Coleman is missing but she witnesses a shooting and a car crash. One of the victims is a teacher that Josie recognizes and as he dies in her arms, he says one word "Ramona".  All Josie has ever wanted and knows is being a police officer, for her, it is her whole world and sadly an obsession.
