I am finding it hard to get into books and find time to sit and read a book and get hooked on the story. I figured reading a dark romance would hook me. This book started with Evelyn whom we can see is a sex worker. Then the book jumps to Lilith aka Lily and we discover that years ago she and Evelyn (her best friend) were traveling and that they were kidnapped and trafficked. Lilith managed to escape but had to leave her friend Evelyn behind but to this day has not stopped searching for her.
