Review: Just What I Needed - Book #4.9 Stage Dive Series - Kylie Scott - November 2022 One of my favourite Rockstar series that I read years ago was Stage Dive by Kylie Scott, I am still to this day a Mal fan ( he was the drummer). Over the past year, I discovered book raffles over on Instagram where if you win, people will buy books off your wishlist and so I decided to add some of the Stage Dive Novellas that I haven't yet explored. Review: Rowdy Boy - #Black Mountain Academy Series - Clarissa Wild - October 2020 After enjoying Mr. D by Alta Hensley, I decided to give the other BMA books ago. Starting with Rowdy Boy by Clarissa Wild. This book connects to her characters Nate and Sam from Cruel Boy. In Rowdy Boy, we meet Monica who suffered an attack at her old school and so needs a new fresh start, her mother after hearing from her cousin Arianne Romero that Black Mountain Academy is a safe school. When Monica arrives, she is captivated by Cole Travis - a musician at the school and lead singer in a band called TRIGGER. Her cousin warns her against Cole as he is a player. We see quite a lot through the book, Monica edging towards Cole and her cousin constantly warning her. We also see her cousin at war with Cole and learn that they have a history where Arianne claims that Cole cheated on her and now she wants revenge - the age-old story of "if I can't have him, then no one will". Review: Thank You, Next Chapter - Cassie Graham - 2020 You know how some books you pick up and you don't know what to expect, I find those often the best type of reads as you don't have those high expectations which often I find can lead to disappointment especially in books as often they don't quite live up to the greatness we have built in our minds.  In Thank You, Next Chapter we meet Arizona aka Zona and Sebastian aka Seb. Zona is busy writing romances under a pen name and looking for a muse as she has had a rocky few years after one bad move led to her being blacklisted in the music community. Seb has hit a wall with his writing of songs ever since his long-term girlfriend whom he was going to propose too dumped him. When Zona is invited to a friend's concert where he is headlining for Seb, Zona goes along. During the concert though she is caught by Seb reading a book while mouthing the words to his song.
