Review: Fang - Maximum Ride Series Book #2- James Patterson- Jan 2011

Coming into their own adventures , we see the Flock developing and soon we will see it going their own ways. As in the first book Max, we saw Maximum Ride being pursued by Mr. Chu - who wanted to use Max for experiments and in Book #2 Fang , we see the group flying off to Africa to do their Mother Theresa Acts , however it is a short-lived visit as they are approached by Dr G.H who has engineered his own breed of flock -one in  particular Dylan who has been designed to become Max's perfect half , however Max isn't happy with that decision as she only has eyes for one bird in particular -Fang. In Africa , we see Angel foretell a vision that says that Fang will be the first one to die and soon , this revelation throws Max and Fang into a Tizzy and divides the group where we see Angel become leader for a short while. When Fang is captured by Dr Chu and Dr G.H and flatlines , is this the last of Fang and will Dylan step up to take his place as Max's other half or will Fang survive and leave the group with a decision that will change their lives and the course of their lives forever ?
Will it be time for Max to say Goodbye to Fang forever?
Also included as we all know , Fang kept a blog and at the back of the book are some blog posts from Fang and some Q's and A's from Jess-an old lab technician they worked with and who had a crush on Fang.
Definitely a novel for all Fans of the Maximum Ride Series and stay Tuned as I bring you Book #3 Angel.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
