Review: If the Sun Never Sets - Ana Huang

Review: If the Sun Never Sets - Book #2 If Love Series - Ana Huang - July 2020

Ana Huang does it again with If the Sun Never Sets, the heart-tugging second installment in the If Love series. Picking up five years after If We Ever Meet Again, this book throws us right back into the whirlwind chemistry between Farrah and Blake — this time in the hustle and bustle of New York City.

Farrah has come into her own as a passionate interior designer, but her career is stagnating thanks to a toxic workplace dynamic. When her colleague-slash-competition (who also happens to be sleeping with the boss) nabs the promotion she deserves, Farrah finally snaps — and quits. Enter Landon, Blake’s best friend, who unknowingly sets the wheels of fate back in motion by hiring Farrah to furnish Blake’s home. What neither man realizes is this Farrah is that Farrah — the one Blake left behind in China.

Now a successful and more grounded version of the heartbreaker we met in book one, Blake is determined to prove he’s no longer the boy who once shattered Farrah’s heart. But Farrah’s scars run deep. Can Blake rewrite the ending they never got to finish, or is it too late?

Ana Huang weaves a beautifully emotional second-chance romance filled with angst, growth, and sizzling chemistry. Farrah is a resilient, relatable heroine, and Blake’s redemption arc feels both genuine and hard-earned. The supporting cast continues to shine, and it’s always a treat when familiar faces from book one reappear.

I also have to gush — I’ve got a serious cover crush on this series. The aesthetic perfectly matches the romantic, jet-setting vibe of the stories inside. I can’t wait to dive into books three and four in the If Love Series and start exploring the other Ana Huang series already waiting on my physical bookshelf!

If you're a fan of emotional reunions, career-driven heroines, and love that stands the test of time, If the Sun Never Sets will light you up.
