Review: Pretty Little Lies - Jessica Huntley - December 2025 There's something deeply satisfying about discovering an author who consistently delivers, and Jessica Huntley has become exactly that for me. After falling head over heels for Room 21, I jumped at the chance to join  Zooloos Book Tours for her latest release, Pretty Little Lies. The cover alone had me hooked elegant yet unsettling but it's what lay beneath that truly captivated me. Pretty Little Lies centers on Amelia and Noah, an engaged couple whose seemingly perfect relationship begins to fracture. As Noah grows distant, Amelia's suspicions of infidelity take root. But her personal crisis quickly spirals into something far more sinister when threatening text messages invade her phone, escalating to deliberate attacks on her freelance beauty business. Review: The Bitch Cup - Zachary Ryan - August 2023 I previously read a series called High School Queens by Zachary Ryan which was a series about a new girl known as The Marked Queen who wanted to expose the secrets hidden in their school walls and become Queen Bee. The series was a fun YA thriller set in the high school cliques of Queen B's. When I saw that Zachary Ryan had a new one out, I clicked buy now as I thought I would enjoy the book. However, when I opened it, it was a story I was familiar with, and then went to High School Queens to make sure this wasn't a re-release. It wasn't though as a brand new high school Lincoln High and a group of new characters and the Queen had a new name. In The Bitch Cup we have The Shadow Queen. Each year Lincoln High hosts The Bitch Cup where the new High School Queen will end up ruling the next Senior year. Everyone whose names are chucked in the cup, thinks they have it in to win and the goal aims to expose the others' deepes...

Review: The Near Daphne Experience - Alison Reynolds - June 2022 Have you ever read a book that you just can't properly explain what you have read? One of those books that if someone asked you what genre it fell into, you can't pinpoint it. For me, The Near Daphne Experience falls into this category. I do have to admit I did finish the book, but it was a weird ride to be on. This book is written completely in letter format and the odd text messages/ psych notes and emails. We have Daphne our main character who works as a psychiatrist and one of her patients is Jonathan who killed his sister Georgia and blames his mother. During the books, we see her notes about each of her sessions with him and she ends up using him in a plan that backfires near the end of the book aka The Red Picnic. I thought of Game of Thrones with this title but it was nowhere as exciting or bloody despite Daphne's hopes. During the book, we read as Daphne corresponds with her Mum Marion, best friend ...
