Review: The Opportunist - Tarryn Fisher

With the release of Book #3 Thief by Tarryn Fisher , I decided it was finally time to read the series :)
So Today on The Phantom Paragrapher, we take a walk down to the beginning with Book #1

Review: The Opportunist - Book #1 Love Me With Lies Series - Tarryn Fisher - November 2011
Three years ago, Olivia had everything and life was starting to look up for her until she lost it all as that's what she did when things got too close to her, she pushed them away. Three years ago, she lost the one person she loved most in the world - Caleb Drake. Three long years, she has wondered what she would say to him if she got the opportunity and now she has come face to face with him in a local Music shop. The thing is though that Caleb has no recollection of who she is as he suffered a bad accident and has amnesia. As the pair re-ignite a friendship, we start to wonder whether Olivia has been given a second chance with Caleb? What happens though when Caleb's current girlfriend and soon to be fiancee we discover is the one Caleb left Olivia for ? As the novel goes along, we read as their friendship starts blooming and then wham-bam the opportunity is missed and the pair go their separate ways until four years later and Caleb and his now-wife Leah turn up at Olivia's law firm wanting Olivia to represent Leah. Can Olivia represent someone she hates ? Can Olivia represent the one person who has everything she ever wanted ? Is the representation , Olivia's chance to finally move on and meet someone else other than Caleb ?
The Opportunist was a novel that struck close to my heart as it really re-inforced the idea that no matter how hard you try - you will never be able to get over your first real love and if you miss the opportunity to be happy with them , then out there - there might not be "the One" but there will be "Mr Right-now".
