Review: Accused - Lisa Scottoline

Review: Accused - Book #12 A Rosato and Associates Novel - Lisa Scottoline - October 2013

One of my favourite mystery female writers is Lisa Scottoline, I have read all her books minus one which I have on my Ipad to read. In Accused , we read that Mary DiNunzio has just made partner with Bernie Rosato which was excitement all around as Mary has been so through so much trials and tribulations with her husband being murdered and then family problems with her sister Angie. Her first case as partner arises when during her party in the office, they are interrupted by Allegra Gardner of the wealthy family The Gardner's . She is a thirteen year old genius who believes that her sister's accused killer Lonnie is innocent and has been sitting as an innocent man for the past seven years in jail and she wants the firms help to prove it. The problem is though that the family are quite important around town and by opening this case , it could provide a lot of unnecessary backlash towards Bernie and her firm not too mention putting the staff in danger of being killed themselves. What will happen though when Mary develops an attachment to Allegra and will stop at nothing to prove she is telling the truth even if in the process it will make others think twice about Bernie choosing the decision to make Mary a partner in the firm. Can Mary prove to her friends that Allegra isn't crazy and that her family are hiding something ?
If you love reading Legal Thrillers , then Lisa Scottoline is the author for you. She is fantastic and so are her books :)
