Review: Present Perfect - Alison Bailey

Review: Present Perfect - Book #1 Perfect Series - Alison G. Bailey - August 2013

Have you ever had that best friend who happens to be a guy and had a friendship so strong you didn't want to risk doing anything that could ruin it , but in the process of that you pushed that friend away and it hurt so bad. For Amanda Kelly, that best friend was Noah. As they got older, her feelings for him changed into more and scared that if she told him it would ruin everything and no longer be the perfect world that she has striven for to achieve all her life, she never told him. As the story goes on we read the back and forth banter between Noah and Amanda. We read as when others come back into their lives - they start dating and their friendship is pulled apart , to the point where they no longer communicate. Can Noah eventually be able to show Amanda that they are the perfect ones for each other and that they will be able to work as a relationship without their friendship falling apart ?
What I loved about this book is that it shows the reader, that no matter what your present life is like that in order to be happy and live a wonderful life, you have to let things go with the flow as too much trying to make things perfect will hinder your future path and end up ruining things and turning things to worst case scenario.
Present Perfect is the "present perfect" read for all those teen girls who have tried to control and navigate their lives to the "T" and to let them know that sometimes it is alright to "hang loose and ride the waves of life".
