Review: Abandon - Book #3.5 Shattered Hearts Series - Cassia Leo - January 2014

Ever since reading Black Box by Cassia Leo , this has become one of my favourite authors and Abandon lived up to my expectations . In Abandon we meet main characters Tristan - which by the way I love that name and Senia - which was an unusal name. Tristan hasn't had the greatest upbringing , in fact it wasn't good at all . Though , it can be easy to hide your past from the rest of the world . He has decided to focus on who he is now , a guy who sleeps around and plays the bass guitar for his best friend Chris's band. There is one girl though, that can get him to change his wandering ways and that is Senia. She of course doesn't want to be one of his groupies or his concubines as she replies to him in a text. What the world doesn't know though is that Tristan grew up with his Grandmother and younger sister Molly and now his Grandmother is dying and of course , she wants whatever she can get her hands on including the full custody rights of Molly which Tristan won't let her even if he has to go to extremes to keep Molly safe.  Fast forward a few months and we learn that Senia is pregnant and Tristan being the man he is , decides to man up and welcome her into his home but it won't be an easy ride as he can get pretty intense and Senia and Tristan go through a lot of bantering and back and fro'ing . What will happen when not one but two tragedies occur within a short period of time ? Will this push Tristan overboard and cause him to "Abandon" ship or will he discover in that moment, that now is the time that the ones he loves truly need him the most and that he will never ever "Abandon" them ?
