Review: Violet - SJI Holliday - September 2019 I didn't know anything about this book except that the cover grabbed me. It sounded intriguing and once I got started, I was sucked into a crazy ride that, to be honest, makes me never want to backpack across Europe, etc, or travel by myself ever or with strangers as you never know what anyone might be capable of. In this book, we meet Violet who has just been dumped by her boyfriend Sam, and Carrie whose friend Laura broke her leg and had to return home.
