Review: Second Rate Chances by Holly Stephens

I don't know about how the majority of other readers feel , but I do know that personally for me - the catergory of "New Adult" was an awesome creation as they are all the novels that I have loved reading for years and now there is a WHOLE catergory dedicated to them.
Today's one was AMAZING .....
Review: Second Rate Chances - Holly Stephens - January 2013
Firstly, I have to say I am one who really enjoys the whole amnesiac who reconnects with his past type of girl and when you add this to the whole "I AM IN LOVE WITH NA" you get a doubly excited Paula and OMG this was awesome . The prologue to this novel starts with Lil and Sam buying their first house and the last sentence was "Nothing will tear us apart" , then Chapter #1 starts with three years later and Sam is engaged to someone named Chloe and it gets the reader thinking "wait a minute, have I missed something" and yes I did turn back and re-read the prologue just to be sure. Then at the end of Chapter #1 Sam is injured in an accident and he has lost his memory , which re-enters Lil into the picture as the last thing he remembers was buying the house. He believes him and Lil are still together, but three years ago they split and it broke Lil so badly she had to go to therapy lessons. When doctors persuade her that she is Sam's only hope ,will she help him to discover the last three years ? What will happen though when Sam discovers that three years ago when he turned his back on Lil - he turned his back on his friends and family also. Will Sam like the "New Sam " he had become and when he does regain his memory - will he go back to the life he was living the past three years and get married to Chloe his fiancee or has this accident given Sam and Lil a second chance at the happiness they should have been sharing the past three years ?
