Review: Top Secret Twenty-One - Janet Evanovich

Review: Top Secret Twenty -One - Book #21 Stephanie Plum Series - Janet Evanovich - June 2014

Stephanie Plum is back and of course , not much has changed except that unlike the previous book instead of a giraffe turning up in strange and odd places we have a rabid pack of demon chihuahuas. Skipping out on bail is Jimmy Poretti and it seems that he is clearing up shop as well as his former business partners are all being murdered and one of them whom narrowly escaped is living with Stephanie as bait. But of course it wouldn't be a Stephanie Plum novel without her house being fire bombed. We see all the familiar faces including Lula who falls asleep while Stephanie's car - the one Lula is in loses it's wheels. In this book , if you were hoping for some clarification on the Stephanie Plum/Joe Morelli/ Ranger relationship , you won't get it as she seems to be spending more time in Rangerville in this book than the couple of days with Joe ? Of course Grandma Mazur is up to no good as she has decided to once and for all pull the wool over Joe Morelli's Grandmother and get revenge on her.
Fire Bombs, Lost Cars, Demon Chihuahas and Dead Bodies is just another day in the life of Stephanie Plum and her faithful sidekick Lula - the ex-hooker.
Even though, we have reached twenty-one I am still enjoying it and holding out hope for the day we discover which male lead Stephanie Plum will choose as her other half - Ranger or Joe Morelli ?
If you are a faithful reader of the Stephanie Plum series, then check out Book #21 - Top Secret Twenty-One.
